to tell, or not to tell

"Expecting the world to treat you fairly because you are a good person, is a little like expecting the bull not to attack you because you are a vegetarian." - Dennis Wholey
an annoying little bastard woke me up with his persistent phone calls.
"I need help."
"I need sleep."
"I cheated on my girlfriend."
"...Asshole. With who?"
"My secretary. I feel so guilty, I can't touch my girlfriend anymore. It doesn't feel right! I don't deserve her."
"Urgh! Of all women you have to bang. Your secretary?! Seriously?"
"She's so hot and wild in bed, you should ha-"
"In case you haven't noticed, you don't sound very remorseful."
"You'd think by the term 'sexually active', you've gotta be 'active' in bed. My girlfriend she just... lies there."
*pause*
"By the way, I like your just-woke-up voice. Sexy."
"Archfiend."
"So should I tell her? Wait what's Archf-" *click*
"Toot, toot, toot..." (drone tone)
maybe the whole idea is overrated. maybe coming clean is the ultimate selfish act, a way to absolve your guilt by hurting someone who doesn't deserve to be hurt. tho... chemistry in bed - touchy touchy issue. yikes.
